The National Organization that represents thousands of homeschool families in the United States and Missouri, HSLDA, put out a call to action today (4/15/2024) alongside one of Missouri’s largest homeschool advocacy networks in Missouri, FHE. Both organizations acknowledged that gun rights ARE, IN FACT, IN JEOPARDY for all homeschool families in Missouri if SB 727 were to pass.
The bill is currently in the House of Representatives where Senator Floor Leader of Missouri is said to be over in the Missouri House ‘negotiating” with House members making promises for their up and down YES vote on SB 727. However, the rest of the calvary arrived today when HSLDA and FHE put out a dire call to action to their members to call House Reps and tell them to vote NO.
