SO MANY SCANDALS WITH THE REPUBLICAN ESTABLISHMENT LEADERSHIP CROWD IN RECENT YEARS. WALK DOWN MEMORY LANE WITH US.
THE GOOD OLE' BOYS AND THEIR NETWORK IN MISSOURI HAVE BEEN EMBROILED IN SEX SCANDALS, ETHICS INVESTIGATIONS, LAWSUITS, STRIPPERS AND MUCH MORE IN RECENT YEARS. WE CAN DO BETTER MISSOURI.
In Missouri as it is in so many other states the “Establishment” drowns out the voice of the people. In many cases it is a frat party mentality group of men who party it up with lobbyists and staffers when their wives are home with the kids. This is not true of ALL “Establishment” men, but many of those you see cheerleading things that just make no sense are part of the good ole boys network who have stained Missouri politics for far too long.
For those of you who are somewhat new to the political fight in Missouri between the Grassroots (the real people of Missouri) and the Establishment (party boy network), we want to take you down a walk through memory lane in MO Politics.
Our true hope and belief for all of these men is that they are reformed. However, when in their high level positions of “Leadership” in MO Politics they were embroiled in scandal that is undeniable.

From article:
“Once considered a rising star in Missouri politics, Jetton represented most of Bollinger and Wayne counties in the House from January 2001 to January 2009, the last four years as speaker — the chamber’s top leadership job. He was prevented by Missouri’s legislative term limits from running for a fifth House term. He opened a political consulting business in 2004 but closed it after his arrest.”

The fish rots from the head. It's not being Republican or a principled conservative. It's about a person's price, leverage/weakness, and their vice (if different from their leverage). If the Senators and Reps follow the leader rather than their constituents it's an easy chain-gang to control. Add to that throwing a couple thousand dollars to a local clerk or their family and you can easy be a king maker.
This may have been in a previous SS and I just missed it, but I think everyone should know that the Jackson County Republican Central Committee does not believe its county or Missouri is getting a fair ROI on its Patterson investment. It formally stated their concerns in a Resolution of “Non-Support” of Patterson as Speaker of the House.
