The OPC HATED THE BILL "SCREAMING FROM THE ROOFTOPS" UNTIL THEY LOVED IT. WHO PUT THEIR FUNDING IN THE BILL ON THE BACKS OF ALL MISSOURIANS LEFT TO DOUBLE THEIR BUDGETS AS PART OF OUR UTILITY BILLS!
There are those on one side that have expanded personhood and then give rights, such as free speech, to corporations and other entities. That allows them to contribute to politicians.
And there are those that fracture personhood by supporting abortion and euthanasia.
But, as Mike Moon put it, personhood is a human with unique DNA. So, rights only go to persons per this definition and all persons rights to life, Liberty, and pursuit of happiness should be fully protected.
It upsets both sides. Eliminates rights for groups and corporations (which upsets the politicians money feed) and eliminates abortion and euthanasia.
The government is ‘of and for the people’ not ‘of and for groups, special interests, corporations, etc. too’. This must needs to be restored and Missouri should lead the way on this.
Now, how to find a Brattin replacement that is a real conservative?
Is it feasible or even allowed once a bill is passed but not signed by the Governor, to get a citizen's ballot measure for the next election cycle that either stops or revokes this SB 4?
Also, a ballot measure that specifically limits the legislature's ability to make a bill or portions of a bill and emergency? Almost all bills in Oregon were deemed emergencies.
Moon is spot on with personhood.

We are in spiritual warfare
