We don't need elected assessors when the State Tax Commission is forcing compliance based on extortion of state sales tax if assessors refuse to "comply" with ridiculous mandates from the STC.

I don’t know how the lady that answers the governors phone don’t know some of the stuff I’ve been telling her that it’s been been going on with the Governor like your podcast on the Governor, having the assessors basically bribing them to raise our personal property taxes and she believe there be ignorant that is going on or don’t believe it. I wish there was a way you could get him to come on the show, because as Governor, he’s basically the president of Missouri so he could stop a lot of this stuff. He can encourage an influence Jefferson City to do the right thing. There’s so much corruption in the whole system. I know it’s spiritual warfare but we’re going to be the new California if things don’t turn around soon. Thanks for your show.

I am firm in my belief that the globalist Bush-aligned are running our state, and into the ground. Texas is falling to. No doubt Jackson County was the first to go rogue on real estate tax given it was already participating in the UN's sustainable development.
This information warrants a massive amount of sunlight and scrutiny in the court of public opinion and in the courts.
How to go about that is what frustrates me. What newspapers are going to pick up this? I have no avenue to influencers like Tucker or Rogan.

I purchased my property in March 2017 and in the eight years I lived here the Appraised value is now 67% higher than it was when I first was assessed. I’m retired so my income is fixed.
‘If your taxes have increased file an appeal’ ‘Ask your assessor to show you the method of assessment’
‘They need to show you how your property has been assessed and by whom or what computer program.’
‘Ask them to verify that those values are accurate’
These are great action items. However, when I received my Value Change Notice it states exactly how my market value was assessed “recent sales of similar properties; the cost of replacement less depreciation.” If I ask, that is what I will be told. I can ask how they obtained recent sales and replacement cost and what is considered depreciation amount but it appears they don’t have to say because the home owner is Responsible for Proving their home’s Market value. “If you believe the appraised value shown is NOT correct, and you have recent documentation to back up your claim, then you may challenge the value by contacting the Assessor’s Office for an informal review. Most questions or concerns can be resolved during the informal review process.”
I have until June 30 to make my appeal. I will note that there is an entity that sends a heavy 5x7 colored post card at least once a month with all the homes that are on the market or sold, days on the market, asking price, sold price and difference. It includes # of bedrooms, baths, year build, style of home, acreage and so forth. This covers four different areas in Cass County. It is mailed to everyone; you don’t request it.
“To Appeal your Assessment Valuation: you must fill out an Appeal Form and also provide proof that the value assigned to your property is incorrect. You may provide the following information to support your claim: sales contracts, appraisals, income and expense information, documented sales of similar properties in your neighborhood (all must be current documentation dated last year), pictures, and blueprints or evidence of significant property data errors regarding your property.”
