Legislating through the budget is illegal. Many “causes” that did not get out of committee mysteriously appeared funded in the budget thanks to Senator Lincoln Hough and Representative Cody Smith (both running for statewide office).

LOTS OF “THANK YOUs TO CODY SMITH” for handing out state funds as political candy in exchange for votes and good favor. At the same time he stuck it to Senator Jill Carter and her requests to help the people of her district with much needed funding for repairs to equipment in a small, rural, fire district.
